Our Staff


We are a small, committed staff. Several staff have worked at Citizen Advocacy for 10 years or more, and Brian Tardif was honoured in June 2010 by receiving a Community Builder Award from the United Way, as well as recognition from the City of Ottawa and local MPPs for his 25th anniversary as Executive Director.

Directions and Parking


Citizen Advocacy is located at 312 Parkdale Avenue, between Scott Street and Wellington Street. We are in a one-story white stucco building called 1 Community Place.

Citizen Advocacy is very accessible by both bus and car. There is parking available.

Parking
Free: In Visitor parking at the front of the building.
Free: On Parkdale Avenue for two hours maximum (no parking between 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
Free: On other surrounding streets, one to three hours maximum. Check the signs.
Pay: Nearby lots and parking meters.



Public Transit
If you're riding the bus here, take any bus to Tunney's Pasture, which is on the transitway. The Tunney's Pasture bus station is at the intersection of Scott Street and Holland Avenue. Walk east on Scott Street for one block, turn right onto Parkdale Avenue, and walk south for a few blocks to 312 Parkdale. The #6 bus stops directly in front of the office.
